As a **Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver** in **Harlingen, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help create a secure environment for shoppers and staff. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.

+ Offer assistance and information to customers and staff as needed, maintaining a visible presence on the premises.

+ Support emergency response activities and communicate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as appropriate.

+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ At least one year of experience in an armed security-related, law enforcement, or military role is required.

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ You must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.

+ You must be able to ride a bike.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
