    Discover Impactful Work:

    Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Project Manager II, where you'll lead essential initiatives that help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. In this role, you'll oversee complex projects in the Filling, Packaging, and Labels departments from initiation through successful delivery, ensuring effective execution and stakeholder satisfaction. You'll lead SKU attributes (expiration dating) investigations, Right First Time improvements through document improvements, and own project A3s to support the Downstream strategy. Additionally, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources and timelines, and implement process improvements while maintaining the highest quality standards. This position offers an opportunity to make meaningful contributions at a leading science company.

    Keys to Success:

    Education and Experience

    + Advanced Degree with no experience required, or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in a regulated/technical environment

    + Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering, Sciences, Business or related field

    + Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) is a plus

    + Additional relevant certifications beneficial (e.g., Six Sigma, Agile)

    + Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices

    + Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

    + Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders

    + Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite, project management software and business systems

    + Strong financial and budget management capabilities

    + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality

    + Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies

    + Demonstrated leadership abilities in cross-functional team environments

    + Process improvement and change management experience

    + Strong customer focus and relationship management skills

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a results-oriented environment

    + Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial

    + Experience with quality management systems (GMP, ISO) preferred

    + Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements in the applicable industry

    Compensation and Benefits

     

    The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $66,000.00–$99,000.00.

     

    This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
