    Key Responsibilities

    + Assist providers with OB and pediatric patient care

    + Prepare patients for exams and procedures

    + Take and document vital signs and medical histories

    + Perform clinical tasks within scope of certification

    + Provide patient education and support to families

    + Maintain accurate and timely medical records

    Requirements

    + Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program

    + Current state certification (CMA, CCMA, or RMA)
