Business Project Advisor – Accounting & Finance Initiatives

Responsibilities

+ Lead and coordinate accounting-related projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery.

+ Drive business readiness by managing process impact assessments, communications, and stakeholder engagement for accounting teams.

+ Integrate accounting processes, controls, and system reporting requirements into business initiatives to maintain compliance and operational excellence.

+ Serve as a key liaison between Accounting, Finance, and business partners, providing clear communication on project status, risks, and dependencies.

+ Maintain project artifacts such as plans and status reports to support governance and transparency.

+ Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and support adoption of best practices.

Qualifications

Required

+ Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, with project coordination experience.

+ Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.

+ Experience managing cross-functional teams and project timelines.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Strong organizational and time management abilities.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

+ Self-starter, quick learner, and effective team player.

Preferred

+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.

+ Experience in the healthcare industry.

+ Experience supporting process improvement and change management initiatives.
