**Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is seeking **Associate Fabrication Specialists** (Leve 2) to join the **Console Assembly** team in **Salt Lake City, Utah** .
The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications. This role requires attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure high-quality production.
Position Responsibilities:
+ Set up CNC machines by loading tools, fixtures, and materials according to job specifications.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to understand machining requirements.
+ Operate CNC machines to perform milling, turning, drilling, or grinding operations.
+ Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations and make necessary adjustments.
+ Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
+ Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify conformance to specifications.
+ Document production data, machine settings, and quality checks accurately.
+ Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Collaborate with engineers, quality control, and production teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
+ Report any equipment malfunctions or quality concerns to supervisors promptly.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
+ 1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications
+ 1+ years of experience with CNC machining in a production environment
+ Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
+ Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
+ Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC operation
+ 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
+ 3+ years of experience using basic math (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
+ 3+ years of experience in a role that required strong attention to details

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $54,000 - $60,000
