Actalent is now hiring Entry Level Lab Technicians for a food science lab settings in DFW area!

Description:

Laboratory Assistant will work directly with the Chemist. Will sample and test food products, report data, document and keep records of raw materials and tests done. Will spend 50% on the production floor and 50% in the lab.

Shift: Monday - Friday / 6am - 3pm

Skills:

Associates or Bachelors of Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science) *NEW GRADS WELCOMED*

Lab testing experience with raw materials from school or work - MUST be familiar with pH, viscosity and titrations, HPLC, weighing samples

Excellent computer and math skills - including Excel and Word knowledge

Minimum 1 year experience of QA/QC experience OR 1 year of work experience in a fast paced role (restaurant or retail)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
