UPMC Children's Hospital is currently seeking a Part-Time Barista to work in our Starbucks location!

The Barista prepares espresso drinks, smoothies and coolers based on customer requests and according to standards. Performs cashiering duties, maintains workstation and stocks supplies as needed. For each and every guest create a memorable experience by providing fast, friendly and courteous service. Follows Starbucks standards by providing outstanding customer service through product knowledge.

Responsibilities:

+ Make espresso drinks, smoothies, and coolers that are delivered to the guest in less than three (3) minutes.

+ Operate espresso machine and video screen.

+ Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with store standards.

+ Follows cash handling procedures and cash handling policies.

+ Learns and demonstrates creating the Starbucks experience.

+ Offers customer demonstrations and samples using brewing equipment

+ Appropriately suggest product with customers to enhance service and meet sales goals.

+ Prepare and produce all drinks to the Starbucks standard.

+ Respond to the customer needs and thank each customer.

+ Demonstrates the 'Just Say Yes' behavior by taking care of customer's needs.

+ Follows store policy and procedures.

+ Ability to accurately count and perform basic mathematical function required.

+ Excellent customer service skills required.

+ Ability to use Point of Service system required.

+ Previous cashier experience preferred.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

+ Clearances with renewal

+ Act 31, 33, 34, 73
