Job Description

Primary Location:

Ogden, Utah

PARTS COORDINATOR -Purchases, stores, and issues spare parts for plant and industrial equipment by performing the following duties.

Monday - Friday

7 am to 3:30 pm

Starting at $19.00, DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Requisitions parts from approved vendors.

+ Reads shop manuals to ascertain type and specification of part.

+ Visits, telephones, telegraphs, or contacts vendors by mail to order parts.

+ Compares invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received.

+ Stores purchased parts in storeroom bins and issues parts to workers upon request.

+ Keeps records of parts received and issued, and inventories parts in storeroom periodically.

+ Wears and utilizes appropriate safety equipment. Wears company provided uniform.

+ Completes all required Safety, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training and demonstrates compliance on a continual basis.

+ Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

WHAT HELPS?

+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

+ Previous experience strongly preferred.

+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

+ Provide excellent customer service in a fast paced environment.

+ Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
