If you enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, mentoring staff, and playing a key role in creating positive dining experiences for residents, this is a great opportunity to make an impact in a supportive, mission-driven community.

As the Kitchen Supervisor at Valley View, you will help supervise staff, coordinate meal service, cook daily breakfast and lunch, and order supplies. The ideal candidate should have 2–4 years of kitchen management experience, and knowledge of state and federal regulations. ServSafe certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain) and bilingual Spanish skills are welcomed. Apply today to join our team!

Position Type: Full-Time

Shifts Available:

Day 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (includes working every other weekend)

Kitchen Supervisor Responsibilities:

+ Cook meals per dietitian approved menus

+ Help Director train and manage all dining room service staff.

+ Help Director coordinate culinary activities for all dining venues as well as special events and private functions.

+ Provide work directions to food service employees.

+ Ensure dining service is prepared and properly staffed; fill in for culinary staff on an emergency basis.

+ Coordinate with Food Service Director on inventory ordering.

+ Maintain inventory control of food, supplies, and equipment.

+ Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Kitchen Supervisor Qualifications:

+ 2-4 years previous experience managing a kitchen

+ High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ Serv-Safe Certification preferred or willing to obtain

+ Bilingual in Spanish a plus

+ Prior experience training and scheduling staff preferred.

+ Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
