    Waverly-Shell Rock High School is seeking a dynamic and student-centered Spanish teacher to join our high school team starting for the 2026-2027 school year.. This position serves students in grades 9–12 and offers an excellent opportunity for an educator passionate about language acquisition, culture, and fostering meaningful relationships with students.

     

    The successful candidate will hold a valid Iowa teaching license with a secondary endorsement in Spanish. We are seeking an educator with strong Spanish language proficiency who can create engaging, standards-aligned learning experiences that emphasize communication, cultural understanding, and real-world application. Candidates should be eager to collaborate with world language colleagues to design and refine a robust language acquisition model that supports all learners and promotes growth over time.
