    Job Title:** **Senior** **Automation Engineer

    Job Description

    As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance in our fulfillment centers by providing proactive controls automation and technical support. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting complex control systems, analyzing performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You'll mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional teams to optimize material handling equipment (MHE) systems, implement innovative projects, and develop system design improvements to enhance site throughput. You'll work with state-of-the-art technology, including conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, and SCADA devices and programs. Through your technical leadership and design optimization efforts, you'll directly contribute to ensuring our customers receive their orders with signature speed and accuracy while building team capabilities and driving operational excellence.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot complex control systems, including MHE’s, PLC’s controllers, and industrial networks.

    + Analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Mentor junior engineers and provide maintenance supervision.

    + Lead cross-functional teams to optimize material handling equipment systems.

    + Implement innovative projects and develop system design improvements to enhance site throughput.

    + Contribute to the development and execution of preventative maintenance planning.

    + Utilize maintenance management and data analysis skills to support operational excellence.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in automation and control systems.

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting complex control systems.

    + Experience in mentoring junior engineers and maintenance supervision.

    + Knowledge in material handling equipment, sorters, robotics, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting.

    + Skills in risk management and project management.

    + Proficiency in CMMS and Six Sigma methodologies.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Candidates must have PLC and SCADA knowledge or experience.

    + Extensive electrical knowledge is required.

    + Candidates from industrial automation, electrical, bottling, conveyor, production, packing, or avionics backgrounds are preferred.

    + Training, management, or mentorship skills are highly desirable.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $102600.00 - $132800.00/yr.
