We are currently seeking Temporary Warehouse Technicians to join our team to support large scale distribution projects.

Hourly Rate: $20 - $22 per hour

OVERVIEW

This individual will be responsible to work in our Warehouse located in Hauppauge Long Island. Job entails unloading tracker trailers, scanning devices for a large-scale distribution project. They must be able to lift over 10 pounds, utilize warehouse pallet jacks, scanning devices and ensuring the data is accurate. Warehouse duties will require logical thinking and space planning capabilities.

Candidate must be able to work independently as well as in a group. Attention to details a must!

RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Remove pallets from tracker trailer or other delivery trucks

+ Move devices on and off the configuration benches

+ Scan devices for inventory receipt

+ Verify excel spread sheets capture correct data

+ Assist with moving pallets

+ Working with a team to complete a scanning project

+ Labeling equipment

+ Provide clean and concise progress reporting (written and verbal)

+ Ensure quality of work

+ Provide documented summations of work assignments

QUALIFICATIONS

+ Understanding a warehouse environment

+ Scanning experience

+ Must know how to use a laptop and office suite such as excel

+ Logical thinking and ability to understand space planning

+ Ability to lift over 10 pounds

+ Good verbal and written communication skills

+ Attention to detail

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Warehouse experience a plus

+ Excel experience a plus

+ Fork lift licenses a PLUS

This position is located at Custom’s headquarters in Hauppauge New York
