• Accounts Payable Clerk

    Robert Half Accountemps (Dallas, TX)


    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Accurately enter and process a high volume of vendor invoices into QuickBooks.

    + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.

    + Prepare and execute check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.

    + Maintain organized and up-to-date AP files and records in QuickBooks.

    + Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive working relationships.

    + Assist with month-end closing processes, including AP accruals and reconciliations.

    + Monitor AP aging reports and ensure all invoices are paid within agreed-upon terms.

    + Support process improvements related to accounts payable and financial operations.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.

    + At least 1 year of accounts payable experience, with proven QuickBooks proficiency.

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    + Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with vendors and team members.

    + Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other office software.
