Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support a manufacturing company based in Addison, Texas. In this contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in reconciliations and month-end processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed account reconciliations, including bank statements, to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial records.

• Handle journal entries and maintain the general ledger, ensuring the integrity of financial data.

• Assist with month-end closing processes, preparing accurate financial reports and statements.

• Identify discrepancies in financial records and implement solutions to address them effectively.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Utilize Sage 100 software to manage accounting tasks and maintain accurate documentation.

• Support cleanup and organization of bank reconciliations to improve financial efficiency.

• Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements in accounting operations.

• Ensure adherence to accounting regulations and standards in all financial activities.

• Assist with other accounting-related tasks as needed to meet organizational goals. Requirements • Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry preparation.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation, including bank reconciliations.

• Hands-on experience with Sage 100 accounting software.

• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams.

• Familiarity with accounting standards and regulations in the manufacturing industry.
