Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team in Hauppauge, New York. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in financial management and extensive expertise in the non-profit sector. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen and leadership skills to drive organizational success.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational goals.

• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, board members, and external partners.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards within the non-profit industry.

• Utilize systems such as Sage Intacct to maintain accurate financial records and reporting.

• Collaborate with department heads to optimize resource allocation and efficiency.

• Lead the evaluation and management of health insurance and other employee benefits.

• Monitor inbound inquiries and ensure timely and effective responses.

• Strengthen organizational relationships by building and maintaining trust with stakeholders.

• Provide guidance to the executive team on financial decisions and long-term planning. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of financial leadership experience, preferably within the non-profit sector.

• Expertise in using Sage Intacct or similar financial systems.

• Proven ability to manage health insurance and employee benefits programs.

• Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

• Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements for non-profits.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

• Effective communication skills to convey financial information to diverse audiences.
