Job Summary
Join our team as a Manufacturing Operator II, a critical role in maintaining efficient production processes and ensuring product quality. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment where attention to detail and teamwork are essential.
Primary Duties
+ Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth production flow, adhering to established operational procedures.
+ Conduct routine inspections and perform quality checks on products to maintain compliance with company standards.
+ Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
+ Maintain accurate production records and report any equipment malfunctions or safety incidents immediately.
+ Assist in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing production efficiency and reducing waste.
+ Follow all workplace safety guidelines and participate in safety training sessions to promote a safe working environment.
+ Support inventory management by tracking materials used and reporting shortages to the appropriate personnel.
+ Perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery as required to prevent operational disruptions.
Qualifications
+ Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with operator-level responsibilities.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate various manufacturing machinery and tools.
+ Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality output.
+ Ability to read and interpret production schedules, work orders, and safety guidelines.
+ Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
+ Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks safely and efficiently.
+ Demonstrated ability to follow standard operating procedures and adhere to safety regulations.
+ Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to changing production requirements.
Education / Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous manufacturing experience is highly valued. On-the-job training will be provided to support skill development and mastery of specific equipment and procedures.
