Toyota’s Commercial Sales Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Commercial Sales Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support the National Commercial Sales Manager (NCSM) and Commercial Sales Manager (CSM) in the wholesale area ranging from wholesale inquiries, operational support activities, collecting due diligence, and ad hoc requests from NCSM and CSM.
Reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager, the person in this role will support the Commercial Sales department's objective to support a portfolio that includes TFS/LFS, requiring an understanding of the specific criteria and metrics relevant to the portfolio.
What you’ll be doing
+ Support CSM and NCSM in new business prospects and deal structures, including the preparation of term sheets, rate quotes, assessment of debt service abilities, etc. Monitor systems for complete and accurate loan bookings.
+ Support the sales organization in optimizing dealer service level by coordinating efforts in multitude of loan and floorplan closing transactions, including the coordination with dealers to gather pertinent information such as appraisals, phase 1, and other due diligence items as necessary.
+ Closely coordinate efforts between Field Sales and Dealer Lending in modifications and terminations of loans.
+ Assist in UCC follow-up and investigation.
+ Support CSM and NCSM on misc. wholesale commercial inquiries (i.e. Credit package prep, documentation support, non-compliant insurance, etc.)
What you bring
+ High school education or equivalent
+ Understanding of credit risk, pricing, and profitability analysis
+ Ability to collaborate with Sales, Commercial Lending, and Operations teams to align commercial strategies.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including:
+ Experience with Excel building reports, performing data analysis, and automating tasks
+ Preparing engaging and visually appealing PowerPoint presentations
+ Familiarity with loan documentation and compliance processes
+ Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Added bonus if you have
+ Dealership financial statement analysis experience
+ Commercial sales/wholesale related experience in automotive finance or captive finance environment
+ Knowledge of insurance principles and policies
+ Four-year college degree preferred
