    Wyo-Ben Pet is a new division of Wyo-Ben Inc. where we focus on the packaging of clumping cat litter. Wyo-Ben Pet’s new facility uses state-of-the-art equipment and offers a clean and safe work environment for employees which enables a critical focus on high quality finished product.

    The main purpose and function of the Shipping and Receiving Associate position is to ship finished goods and receive plant supplies, ensuring that shipping orders are filled accurately, trucks or cars are loaded properly, and that all documentation is comprehensive and correct.

    Specific responsibilities may include:

    + Serve as liaison with O-T-R truck drivers and inform them of WYO-BEN, INC.’s loading policies and procedures.

    + Check O-T-R documentation for accuracy.

    + Load trucks and railcars according to the Shipping Order.

    + Attach Bills of Lading and other accompanying documentation to outgoing shipments.

    + Receive and document incoming shipments.

    + Inventory products and empty bags as needed.

    + Work under general supervision and make decisions under set guidelines.

    + Make recommendations to supervisory personnel.

    + Responsible for inventory and equipment.

    + Interact with production, logistic team, and accounting personnel.

    + Responsible for reporting safety, quality, environmental, and equipment concerns to supervisor.

    + Maintain clean and well-organized pad/pallet storage area.

    + Ensure appropriate consideration is given to safety, quality, and environmental concerns.

    + Support and participate in the organization's Continual Improvement Program requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    Education and Training:

    + Willing to train

    Experience:

    + Three (3) to six (6) months of General Plant or Warehouse experience.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    + Forklift operation.

    + Front end loader and Bobcat operation a plus.

    + Keyboard and record keeping.

    + Basic mathematics.

    + Good interpersonal skills.

    + Must be capable of objective decision making when confronted by emotional O-T-R drivers.

    + Problem solving skills: ability to identify source of problem; execute solution and document the issue; escalate to management.

    Physical and Safety Requirements:

    + Respiratory Protection Program requirements may apply.

    + Rotating shift work may apply.

    + Regularly work alone.

    + Frequently strenuous work, sometimes including handling heavy materials.

    + Frequently work outside in variable weather.

    + Call-outs are infrequent but possible.

    + Sitting, bending, standing, walking, 8-10 hours per day.

    + Frequently lifts up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.

    + Must comply with any safety or PPE requirements.

    + Produce error-free work.

    + Deadline-oriented.

    + Approach all interactions and work situations in a positive and respectful manner.

    + Self-starter who thinks of innovative, faster ways to accomplish tasks.

    + Work with minimal supervision.
