About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a seasoned, experienced technical leader to drive automation and solutions strategy for our technology organization.

In this role, you will:

+ Manage and develop teams of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate complexity and risk maintaining the enterprise network

+ Collaborate with network engineers and Information Technology Team to design and implement the company's network infrastructure, resolving advanced support issues

+ Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated with the Network Engineering function

+ Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development

+ Manage network, delegate tasks and ensure networking team performs as a cohesive unit, maintaining the stability and performance of network

+ Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Network Engineering team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables

+ Interpret and develop policies and procedures for Network Engineering functions with moderate complexity within scope of responsibility

+ Create and implement network security measures

+ Develop a backup disaster recovery plan for a network emergency

+ Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including managers

+ Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Network Engineering

+ Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

+ 6+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

+ 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

+ Strong people leadership and stakeholder engagement

+ Proven experience managing and developing engineering teams

+ Demonstrated ability to lead technical staff through complex technology strategy and automation initiatives

+ Ability to navigate through ambiguity and manage a fast paced and continuously changing environment

+ Strong understanding of network automation fundamentals, tools, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible RedHat, GitHub, HPNA, PowerShell)

+ High-level knowledge of Arista, Cisco Meraki, Cisco Viptela, and FortiNet

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to coach and mentor individual contributors and less experienced managers
