THE ROLE
Leading the operation of all bars, stands, and portables at functions through proper management of personnel, equipment, and product inventory and display to ensure efficient and customer-friendly service while maximizing sales opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Assist in setting up and maintaining bar and concession products, displays and equipment.
+ Assisting vendors and NPOs with set-up and assignments per event.
+ Conduct pre-shift meetings with scheduled personnel and ensure proper location assignments and training per shift.
+ Settle bar and concessions event paperwork per event.
+ Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving.
+ Ensure all POS systems in the bar / stand are in proper working condition.
+ Accurately review final product before serving to customer.
+ Ensure health codes and liquor laws are followed.
+ Maintain safe working conditions and sanitary work area.
+ Maintain accurate payment procedures at all times.
+ Preps food and beverage in bar/stand prior to event beginning.
+ Ensure the proper dismantling, cleaning and storage of all product and equipment post-event.
+ Assist supervisor with inventory stand sheets and sales reports.
+ May be required to assist with banquet planning and service as needed.
+ Perform related duties as assigned by Management.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
+ Must have a High School Diploma or GED required.
+ 1 year of customer service experience required.
+ At least 2 years of experience in concessions software required.
+ Must have 2 years of experience in food and beverage.
Skills and Abilities
+ Must have attention to detail.
+ Must have good oral and written communication skills.
+ Must have ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
+ Must have strong customer service skills.
+ Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment.
+ Must have strong interpersonal skills.
+ Must have good organizational skills.
+ Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures.
+ Must be compliant with health code.
