*Application Deadline: March 13th, 2026* *Apply online with a cover letter and resume or submit a cover letter and resume to [email protected]. * *Position Summary:* The intern will work on a variety of assignments that will involve the administration of the best practices of the BCSO. *Supervision Received:* Receivesdirect supervision from the assigned department headin performing duties in accordance with all best practices and established guidelines. *Duties and Responsibilities:* Work collaboratively with the departments of the BCSO to ensure that the mission of the BCSO is upheld. Assist the departments with administrative tasks. Assists with data entry and filing. Participates or assists in events attended by the BCSO or scheduled by the BCSO. *Job Competencies:* Must have good computer skills including Microsoft Office. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work professionally with persons at all levels and to maintain effective working relationships Ability to process and maintain confidential information. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Organized with attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills. Working towards an associates or bachelor's degree (or graduate degree) from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Criminal Justice, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, Public Administration or related area of study.
