    Customer Service Representative

     

    Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

     

    Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM

     

    Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team and deliver exceptional service to healthcare providers, patients, and internal stakeholders. This role is critical in coordinating and scheduling initial and refill shipments of specialty medications, ensuring accuracy and patient satisfaction. You will handle both inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Answer inbound calls and provide accurate, clear information to patients and healthcare providers.

    + Make outbound calls to gather prescription details and coordinate shipments.

    + Schedule and confirm medication deliveries with precision.

    + Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

    + Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

    + Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.

    + Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental goals.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + 3–5 years of customer service or call center experience preferred.

    + Strong telephone communication skills and a customer-first mindset (mandatory).

    + Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM.

    + Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards.

    Required Skills

    + Handle 7–10 calls per hour (85–110 calls per day).

    + Customer service experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical settings.

    + Emotional intelligence and ability to hit quality metrics.

    + Documentation accuracy and HIPAA compliance.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
