Job Description

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to assist with providing technical support to healthcare personnel, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff, during the build-out of new hospital facilities.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality customer service and technical assistance, focusing on tasks such as:

+ Adding user groups

+ Adding printers

+ Resetting passwords

+ Re-imaging laptops

+ Providing basic in-person support

Responsibilities

+ Unbox and set up monitors, printers, and PCs

+ Install and configure workstations

+ Break down pallets and boxes

+ Assist users with installations and troubleshooting

+ Perform network logins and map network drives/printers

+ Swap and install hardware components

+ Test and configure VoIP phones

+ Support imaging and deployment of devices

Requirements

+ Basic technical skills, including computer imaging and customer support

+ Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under supervision

+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills

+ Great attention to detail and professionalism

+ Reliable transportation (daily travel to clinic sites required)

Deployment Scope

+ Approximately 730 desktops/laptops

+ 722 peripherals (keyboards, monitors, scanners)

+ 600 VoIP phones

+ 395 additional devices (faxes, facilities equipment, biomedical items)

+ 200 PCs for physician areas

+ Total: ~2,750 items to be deployed over a 6-week period, plus additional requests.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Burleson, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
