• Desktop Support Technician

    TEKsystems (Dallas, TX)


    Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to provide technical assistance and ensure smooth operations across end-user systems. This role involves supporting Microsoft technologies, managing deployments, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a dynamic environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide deskside and remote support for end users, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.

    + Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.

    + Utilize Microsoft SCCM for imaging, deployment, and patch management of desktops and laptops.

    + Perform Active Directory tasks, including user account management and permissions using ADUC.

    + Assist with Windows 11 configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization for end-user devices.

    + Document all work and resolutions in the ticketing system, ensuring accurate and timely updates.

    + Collaborate with team members to complete hardware refresh projects and other technology initiatives.

    + Experience with ControlUp for performance monitoring and troubleshooting is a plus.

    Qualifications:

    + Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite and Windows 11 operating systems.

    + Hands-on experience with SCCM for imaging and deployment.

    + Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

    + Previous experience in desktop support or similar IT role.

    This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
