Job Title: Delinquency Control CounselorJob Description
As a Delinquency Control Counselor, you will be responsible for managing and collecting on past due Consumer Loan and Credit Card accounts within the first 30 days of delinquency. You will ensure compliance with all government and internal regulations while providing financial counseling to members and mitigating potential losses.
Responsibilities
+ Manage and collect on delinquent Consumer Loan and Credit Card accounts within the first 30 days of delinquency.
+ Provide financial counseling to members to mitigate loss.
+ Navigate multiple systems to effectively manage accounts.
+ Make 80-120+ outbound and inbound calls per day in a call center environment.
+ Evaluate member needs and provide empathetic solutions.
+ Demonstrate excellent communication skills to resolve member issues.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in collections, sales, retail, or administrative roles.
+ Customer service experience is essential.
+ Proficiency in using Excel, Word, and Outlook.
+ Ability to think critically and solve problems.
+ Strong communication and people skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's or Associate's degree with Retail or Sales experience preferred.
+ High School Diploma with collections or call center experience accepted.
+ Experience in high-end retail or fast food establishments like Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Target, or Best Buy is advantageous.
+ Resourceful and able to think outside the box.

Work Environment
The role offers a hybrid work environment with the first 4 weeks of training scheduled from 7am-3:30pm CST/8am-4:30pm EST, Monday to Friday. Initially, you will work on-site for the first three days, transitioning to a hybrid schedule with one on-site day per week. Post-training, the schedule requires availability from Monday to Saturday, with shifts between 7am-8pm CST/8am-9pm EST. Saturdays are a fixed schedule from 8am-4:30pm. You will receive equipment for home use, including two monitors, a keyboard, mouse, and headset. Work in an open cubical environment with a team-focused atmosphere and high call volume.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winchester, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.95 - $18.95/hr.
