    Job Title: Field Service Technician

     

    Duration: 6+ months

     

    Work Environment: 100% Onsite

    Overview

    We are seeking Field Service Technicians to support multiple projects across Plano, Addison, and Fort Worth, TX. This role involves performing moves, adds, changes (MAC), installations, imaging, and hardware-related tasks in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be reliable, professional, and flexible with working overtime, including evenings and weekends as needed.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform moves, disconnects, reconnects, and installations of hardware.

    + Conduct site surveys and assist with differentiated deployments.

    + Install monitors (dual 24-inch), docking stations, and manage cables under desks for neat setups.

    + Provide troubleshooting for hardware issues, imaging, and post-move support.

    + Document work and communicate updates via email to users and project teams.

    + Support large-scale build-outs and decommissioning projects across multiple sites.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    + 2+ years of experience with MAC (Moves, Adds, Changes), installations, imaging, and deployments.

    + Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).

    + Ability to lift and install large monitors and desktops; perform cable management under desks.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ticketing systems and change management processes.

    + Must be detail-oriented, able to multitask, and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.

    + Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed.

    Nice-to-Have Skills

    + Experience with Windows 10 troubleshooting.

    + Exposure to telecommunications environments.

    + Large enterprise experience (preferred but not required).

    Additional Details

    + Dress code: Business casual (collared shirts such as polo or button-down).

    + Travel between Plano, Addison, and Fort Worth locations may be required.

    + Physical activity involved: lifting monitors, desktops, and performing under-desk cable management.

    This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
