Job Description:
SUMMARY
The Product Manager for the Filler & Putty product lines is responsible for developing and executing the product strategy to drive growth, profitability, and market share across our most important and recognizable categories. This role involves managing the entire product lifecycle—from ideation and development to launch and post-launch performance—while ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, and company objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ **Product Strategy & Planning**
+ Define and implement the product roadmap for the filler and putty portfolio.
+ Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
+ Develop pricing strategies and positioning to maximize profitability and market penetration.
+ **Product Development & Lifecycle Management**
+ Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to develop new products and improve existing ones.
+ Manage product lifecycle, including introductions, updates, and discontinuations.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
+ **Marketing & Sales Support**
+ Work closely with marketing to create compelling product messaging, promotional materials, and campaigns.
+ Provide training and technical support to sales teams and distributors.
+ Develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
+ **Financial & Performance Management**
+ Monitor product performance metrics (sales, margins, market share) and take corrective actions as needed.
+ Prepare annual budgets and forecasts for the product line.
+ **Customer & Market Engagement**
+ Act as the subject matter expert for filler and putty products.
+ Engage with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders to gather feedback and build relationships.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Work Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
+ 5+ years of marketing/sales experience, preferably in product management, preferably in materials, coatings, adhesives, or related industries.
+ Proven track record of managing product lines and delivering growth.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee may be required to:
+ Regularly wear personal protective equipment to safely navigate a manufacturing environment
+ Visit repair/restoration/manufacturing facilities with varying safety requirements
+ Occasionally lift/move up to 50lbs of materials or product, generally for trade show set up or as part of a customer visit
Compensation Information:
$90,000-$130,00 base pay plus bonus eligibility
