Job Summary

As a Sr. Functional Architect you will leverage your extensive experience in Pega technologies to design and implement innovative solutions that enhance business processes. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of Pega applications driving efficiency and value for our clients in the Payer domain.

Responsibilities

+ Lead the design and development of Pega applications ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry standards.

+ Oversee the integration of Pega Platform with existing systems to enhance data flow and user experience.

+ Provide expertise in Pega Reporting to deliver insightful analytics and drive data-driven decision-making.

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and model business processes using Pega Process Modeling and Analysis.

+ Implement Pega Case Management solutions to streamline operations and improve case handling efficiency.

+ Ensure robust security measures are in place by applying Pega Security best practices.

+ Drive the adoption of Pega Mobility solutions to support mobile access and functionality.

+ Utilize Pega Express to accelerate project delivery and optimize development cycles.

+ Enhance user experience through intuitive design and functionality using Pega User Experience principles.

+ Facilitate the deployment of Pega Decision Hub to enable real-time decision-making capabilities.

+ Work closely with domain experts in the Payer sector to tailor solutions that meet specific industry needs.

+ Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

+ Monitor and evaluate the performance of Pega applications implementing improvements as necessary.

+ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all Pega implementations.

Qualifications

+ Possess a deep understanding of Pega Application Development and its impact on business processes.

+ Demonstrate proficiency in Pega Data and Integration to ensure seamless data management.

+ Have experience in Pega Process Modeling and Analysis to optimize workflows.

+ Show expertise in Pega Security to safeguard sensitive information.

+ Exhibit knowledge of Pega Mobility to enhance accessibility and user engagement.

+ Familiarity with Pega Express for efficient project execution is a plus.

+ Experience in the Payer domain is mandatory with Provider domain experience being advantageous.

**Salary and Other Compensation** :

Applications will be accepted until 0/08/2026.

The annual salary for this position is between $175,000 - 180,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
