    About the role

     

    As a **Senior Program Manager** , you will make an impact by leading complex IT programs that align with client strategic goals, driving transformation through Test Automation, Gen AI, and Data Strategy. You will be a valued member of our delivery leadership team and work collaboratively with C-level stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners.

    In this role, you will:

    • Oversee and manage complex projects within a portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

    • Lead planning and implementation of IT projects, coordinating internal resources and third-party vendors.

    • Champion change management and adoption of new processes, strategies, and tools.

    • Develop and manage program budgets, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.

    • Drive innovation and transformation initiatives across the enterprise.

    Work model

    Hybrid – Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring **4 days per week in a Cognizant or client office in Charlotte, NC.** We support flexibility and a healthy work-life balance through various wellbeing programs.

    What you need to have to be considered

    • 15+ years of QA experience with 10+ years in management roles.

    • Proven expertise in program management and end-to-end implementation.

    • Strong communication skills with experience managing C-level stakeholder expectations.

    • Ability to align strategic goals with program delivery, including automation and emerging technologies.

    • Experience in risk management, budgeting, and vendor coordination.

    These will help you stand out

    • General Insurance domain expertise.

    • Experience driving enterprise-wide transformation and innovation.

    • Familiarity with Gen AI and Data Strategy initiatives.
