Job Title: PKI Architect
Employment Type: Full-Time
PKI Architect: Design, deploy, and maintain PKI systems, including Certificate Authorities (CA), Registration Authorities (RA), and Hardware Security Modules (HSM).
+ Manage lifecycle of digital certificates (issuance, renewal, revocation) for internal and external systems.
+ Have CLM (Venafi / Appviewx / KeyFactor / Sectigo) experience
+ Implement and enforce certificate policies and standards in compliance with industry best practices.
+ Integrate PKI solutions with enterprise applications, network devices, and cloud services.
+ Monitor PKI infrastructure for performance, availability, and security incidents.
+ Troubleshoot PKI-related issues and provide technical support to internal teams.
+ Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and application teams to ensure secure configurations.
+ Stay updated on cryptographic standards, compliance requirements, and emerging threats.
+ Document PKI architecture, processes, and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in PKI administration and security engineering.
+ Strong understanding of cryptographic principles, X.509 certificates, SSL/TLS, and key management.
+ Hands-on experience with PKI tools (Microsoft ADCS, Venafi, DigiCert, Entrust, etc.).
+ Familiarity with HSMs, OCSP, CRL, and certificate automation.
Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation.
