    Job title: Production associate – level I (disassembly, cleaning and inspection)

    Job summary:

    operates machines and production equipment in a manufacturing environment, following quality and productivity standards with limited supervision. supports the teardown of high-horsepower diesel engines through a rotating role that includes engine disassembly, component cleaning, and part inspection to prepare items for the next stage of production.

    Key responsibilities:

    health, safety and environmental (hse):

    + stop work and immediately report major injury hazards

    + report work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents or hazards

    + comply with hse standards, policies, procedures and regulations

    + use appropriate personal protective equipment

    + promote a safe work environment by looking out for coworkers

    + correct hazards within assigned control and capability

    + recognize environmental impacts and work to minimize them

    + participate in required hse training

    Quality:

    + follow standard work instructions, process documentation and quality procedures such as statistical process control, poka-yoke and visual standards

    + identify and report issues to reduce cost and quality risks

    + perform quality inspections

    + identify and control non-conforming materials

    Production:

    + achieve production goals and meet required cycle times or engineering standards

    + maintain a clean and organized work area, including housekeeping and machine cleaning

    + perform planned operator care and basic maintenance tasks

    + remain flexible and perform additional duties as needed to meet production goals

    + collaborate with peers, skilled trades and support teams to identify equipment requiring repair

    Teamwork:

    + communicate effectively with assigned teams and support functions

    + complete required training and professional development

    + actively participate in continuous improvement related to quality, safety, processes, material flow and employee development

    Education and requirements:

    + high school diploma, secondary education completion certificate or equivalent experience

    + position may require licensing to comply with export control or sanctions regulations
