Special Education Teacher – Greenville, TX
Pay Rate: $40–$45 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:40 AM – 3:20 PM
Contract Duration: Remainder of the 2025–2026 school year (through May 22, 2026)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Greenville, TX. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, you will provide high-quality educational services to students in grades K–12. This role emphasizes collaboration with general education staff and active participation in planning and implementing individualized student programs, including specialized instruction and consultation.
Key Responsibilities
+ Deliver instruction in structured teach and inclusion settings for elementary students.
+ Support a caseload of 8 students with individualized education plans (IEPs).
+ Collaborate with classroom support staff to ensure student success.
+ Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
+ Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development.
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred).
+ Valid Texas teaching certificate with Special Education and Core/Generalist certifications (required).
+ Endorsement as Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
+ Minimum of 1 year teaching experience (preferred).
+ Current CPR certification and health clearances as required.
+ Must meet all professional standards and regulatory requirements.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
