+ Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

About the Opportunity

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with a respected correctional facility in Billerica, MA. We are currently seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time assignments. Correctional or psychiatric experience is required for both roles. This is an excellent opportunity to make an impact in an underserved population while working within a highly collaborative healthcare environment.

CompensationRegistered Nurse (RN)

+ Local: $60/hr

+ Travel: $2,650 weekly gross (Local Travelers must live 50 miles from facility to qualify)

+ Start Date: ASAP

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

+ Local: $48/hr

+ Travel: $2,050 weekly gross (Local Travelers must live 50 miles from facility to qualify)

+ Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities (RN & LPN)

+ Administer medications and support medical treatments

+ Perform triage, risk assessments, and emergency first aid

+ Apply surgical dressings and bandages

+ Monitor, document, and report vital signs and patient conditions

+ Collect specimens for diagnostic testing

+ Accurately document all care and interventions

+ Notify appropriate staff of treatment reactions or condition changes

+ Educate patients and assist with discharge planning

+ Promote a safe, therapeutic, and professional environment

+ Support physicians and perform other duties as assigned

Note: RNs may be assigned additional scope-of-practice responsibilities as appropriate.

QualificationsRegistered Nurse (RN)

+ Active Massachusetts RN license or proof of application

+ Minimum 1 year of correctional or psychiatric experience

+ Current CPR certification

+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

+ Active Massachusetts LPN license or proof of application

+ Minimum 1 year of correctional or psychiatric experience

+ Current CPR certification

+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
