    Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – State Neuro-Medical Treatment Center

     

    Pay Rate: $33/hour (Local)

     

    Travel rate available for those who qualify

    Position Overview

    This center provides care for adults with chronic and complex medical and/or behavioral conditions that coexist with neurocognitive disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, or severe and persistent mental illness.

     

    As an LPN, you will play a critical role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to residents with unique needs in a structured and supportive environment.

    Shift Options

    + 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 40 hrs/week | Every Other Weekend

    + 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | 40 hrs/week | Every Other Weekend

    + 12-Hour Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36/48 hrs alternating weeks | Every Other Weekend

    Orientation Details

    + Duration: First 2–4 weeks

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

    + Important: No RTO (Requested Time Off) or call-outs permitted during orientation period

    Key Responsibilities

    + Provide skilled nursing care to residents with neurocognitive and behavioral conditions

    + Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

    + Monitor and document patient status, including vital signs and assessments

    + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care

    + Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations

    Requirements

    + Current LPN license in North Carolina

    + Ability to work assigned shifts and every other weekend

    + Strong clinical skills and attention to detail

    + Commitment to patient safety and quality care
