• Preschool Aide

    Amergis (Orange, CA)


    Amergis Educational Staffing is currently hiring for Full-Time and Part-Time Preschool Aides to support schools in Westminster and Anaheim, CA.

    Duties:

     

    -Assist the lead teacher with daily lessons and activities

     

    -Help set up learning centers, crafts, and play stations

     

    -Work with small groups or individual children who need extra support

     
     

    -Monitor children during free play, outdoor time, and structured activities

     

    -Encourage positive social interactions and help resolve minor conflicts

     

    -Participate in games, songs, and hands-on learning

     
     

    -Guide children through early literacy, counting, and motor-skill activities

     

    -Model appropriate behavior, communication, and routines

     

    -Support children with following directions and staying engaged

     
     

    -Maintain a clean, safe classroom environment

     

    -Assist with handwashing, toileting, and other hygiene routines

     

    -Follow safety procedures and keep an eye out for hazards

     
     

    -Prepare materials, organize supplies, and help with classroom setup

     

    -Assist with attendance, notes to parents, or simple documentation

     

    -Help clean up after activities and meals

    Qualifications:

    -Prior experience in a preschool or elementary school setting is preferred, but not required. Experience will be assessed during screening process

     

    -A minimum of 6 college semester units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development

     

    Pay: $21/hour
