Schedule:34 hours/week | 8:40 AM – 3:30 PM

Focus:Evaluation-only scope (no participation in ancillary team meetings oradditional internal duties)

Contract Length: Remainder of school year with option to renew for nextschool year

Position Description

The SchoolPsychologist provides on-site psychological services for elementary students,focusing primarily on evaluations to determine eligibility for additionalsupport services. This role supports a variety of mental health anddevelopmental needs and works within state and district guidelines.

Note: *This particular position is designed to primarily completeevaluations needed in each building. You will not be required toparticipate in other team meetings or duties typically handled by internalschool psychologists—ideal focus role.

KeyResponsibilities

+ Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments.

+ Interpret evaluation data and prepare clear, actionable eligibility reports aligned with state and district standards.

+ Collaborate with school teams to support identification of student needs and services as required by state regulations.

+ Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to professional standards of practice.

+ Provide on-site services in compliance with district policies and state requirements.

MinimumQualifications

+ Credential: Active School Psychologist Certificate or credential in the state of Michigan (required).

+ Education: Master’s degree in Psychology or School Psychology preferred.

+ Experience: Prior experience with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred; elementary experience a plus.

+ Current State licensure/certification in assignment state.

+ Current CPR (if applicable).

+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable).

+ Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation).

+ Meets all federal, state, and local requirements.

+ Must be at least 18 years of age.

+ Professional Standards: Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
