    Special Education Teacher – Developmental Preschool(2025–2026 School Year)

     

    Local Pay Rate: $50/HR

     

    Modality: SPED

     

    Position Type: 1.0 FTE – Developmental Preschool(Self-Contained)

     

    Contract Dates:November 3, 2025 – May 21, 2026

     

    Schedule: Full-Time (Start/End Time TBD by campus)

     

    Special Education Teacher to support ourDevelopmental Preschool program for students ages 3–5. This is an excellentopportunity for an educator who is passionate about early childhood specialeducation, thrives in a structured and supportive environment, and is committedto helping young learners grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

    Position Details

    Caseload & Classroom Structure

     

    + Preschool students ages 3–5

    + 12 students per 3-hour session (AM & PM classes)

    + 2 paraprofessionals assigned for classroom support

    Primary Responsibilities

    + Provide instruction in a self-contained developmental preschool setting

    + Implement IEPs and conduct IEP-related testing

    + Collaborate with paras, related service providers, and families

    + Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal SPED requirements

    + Create a nurturing, structured, and developmentally appropriate learning environment

    Required Qualifications

    + ADE SPED License with ECE SPED Certification (required)

    + IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (FPCC)

    + Experience working with preschool or early childhood SPED populations preferred

    + Ability to meet all district onboarding and compliance requirements

     

    District Onboarding

     

    + District-specific training assigned after offer acceptance

    + 11 required trainings to be completed within 30 days

    + Timekeeping system: MaxView
