Required Education/Experience

+ Bachelor's Degree and requires a minimum of 3 years work experience

Preferred Education/Experience

+ Master's Degree MBA or MPP and a minimum of 2 years work experience

+ Juris Doctorate

Relevant Work Experience

+ 3 years' experience in analyst or managerial position with skill in leadership and operational analyses, required.

+ Must have demonstrated analytical experience, required.

+ Must have experience in research and report writing, required.

+ Must have strong writing skills, required.

+ Must have the ability to interact and partner with various levels of management and internal/external organizations, required.

+ Must have experience handling multiple assignments and changing priorities, required.

+ Must have experience working independently and making sound business decisions, required.

+ Must have demonstrated excellent oral communication skills and strong leadership skills, required.

+ Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, required.

+ Experience in project management, required.

+ Regulatory or energy industry experience, required.

+ Strong oral communication skills required. Candidate will represent Con Edison in public forums, required.

+ Must be able to work independently, take full ownership of assignments, and adapt to fluid circumstances, required.

+ Experience developing policy positions preferred.

+ Driver's License Required

Additional Physical Demands

+ The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

+ Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as required.

+ Must be able to participate in the Company's emergency management processes and storm plans as required.
