    Would you like to gain valuable hands-on work experience in the exciting field of microwave communication? We have an exciting entry level position for a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. The **Product Engineering Specialist** will work within a team of professionals in developing, producing and improving microwave communication hardware at our San Jose, CA facility.

     

    The Production Engineering Specialist position will work with the engineering staff to test and troubleshooting hardware. They may develop test specifications, methods and modify diagrams, procedures and rework instructions on hardware. They may also prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommend solutions to technical problems. This hands-on work will provide valuable experience for a future design engineer, product engineer or program manager.

    Responsibilities

    + Work with production staff to perform and document testing of microwave hardware

    + Perform and document tuning and test results on multi-function thin film microwave integrated circuits (MICs)

    + Work closely with manufacturing engineers, as part of a product team, providing feedback on modules and subsystem products

    + Perform set-up and calibration of the automated test station

    Minimum:

    + BS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.

    + Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.

    + This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).

    Preferred:

    + Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

    + Proficient written and verbal skills.

     

    Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

     

    For California, the annual base salary range is $57,900 min - $72,400 mid. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
