Job Description
Oracle Financing provides payment solutions to help customers acquire Oracle products and services. Within Oracle
Financing, the Risk Management group analyzes the financial strength and credit quality of prospective Oracle business
entity customers for the purpose of making credit approval decisions concerning extended payment terms. Transaction
sizes range from $100 thousand on the low end to more than $50 million on the high end.
The Risk Management Analyst’s primary responsibilities are to review, evaluate, and provide written analysis of the
financial strength of end-user businesses to arrive at accurate credit risk ratings, provide approvals within delegated credit
authority, and provide transaction structuring. Analysis will include reviewing customer financial statements, calculating
financial ratios, reading financial audit footnotes, analyzing financial/industry trends, etc. The Analyst will be proficient in
conducting credit due diligence calls with the CFOs of privately held companies to discuss prospective customer financial
statements and obtain all required information. The Analyst will utilize leading credit analysis tools to ensure decisions
are accurate.
Qualified candidates will have extensive credit underwriting and credit decision making experience, with the credit
decisions concerning enterprise business entities. Candidates should have experience with a bank or financing/leasing
company with strong financial underwriting and credit decision making abilities, with direct credit authority. The position
will require analyzing corporate credits ranging from start-up companies to large corporations. The analysis will include
spreading financial reports, calculating financial ratios, reading audit footnotes, and analyzing income statements, balance
sheets, and cash flow statements. The Analyst should have the ability to handle multiple tasks, make decisions under
pressure, work independently, and provide responsive support to the sales organization.

• Conduct credit due diligence and credit decision making in a professional, thorough, and timely manner.
• Prepare written credit risk analysis in accordance with OFD Credit Policies and SOX requirements.
• Identify strengths, risks, and mitigants and assign accurate risk ratings to customer business entities.
• Perform in a responsive manner while controlling risks.
• Obtain information related to financial condition and performance, operations, management, competition, and
industry economics.
• Analyze corporate credits, state and local government (municipal) credits, and hospital credits.
• Work with funding sources to ensure funding liquidity of closed Oracle Financing transactions.
• Create and maintain orderly credit files, including credit review write-ups.
Requirements:
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize conflicting deadlines for deliverables and customer issues.
• Ability to make independent credit decisions under pressure and in a timely manner.
• Experience underwriting state and local government (municipal) entities and hospitals a plus.
• Intermediate level of software (Excel and Word).
• Ability to perform advanced financial and ratio analysis.
• Ability to think analytically and problem solve.
• Ability to provide appropriate structures and negotiate terms.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
Qualifications:
• 5-10+ years of work experience in credit underwriting and credit decision making with a bank, leasing company,
and/or captive finance company.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting. MBA preferred. Strong academic performer a plus.
**Work Shift:** Full time **(** 9am-6pm). Longer hours may be required at quarter-end.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
