FS Companies are committed to ensuring the continued profitability for the company, their owners, and their customers, while enacting to help the environment and greater good. *_SALARY/COMMISSIONS RANGE:_** $45 - $65K * * _PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT_* Under the direction of the Region Manager, the Location Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all the daily grain facility operational activities in a safe and profitable manner. Work with and cooperate with other supervisory personnel to ensure efficiency and overall company growth. * _ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS_* * Lead, train, schedule, and develop grain elevator operations personnel. * Direct daily receiving, storage, mixing and shipping of grain via trucks or rail. * Monitor inventory levels, grain condition, blending opportunities, and implement quality assurance measures. * Coordinate grain movement with grain originators, merchandisers, and transportation manager. * Oversee facility housekeeping, preventative maintenance, equipment repairs and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. * Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. * Drive process improvements, develop standard operating procedures, and manage facility upgrades. * Maintain an accurate inventory system to protect grain. * Provide exceptional customer service. * Responsible for making sure the facilities and equipment are clean and maintained. * Maintain accurate maintenance records. * Ability to work extended hours as business conditions warrant. * Attends all required meetings and training programs. * Successfully adhere to safety rules and company policies and procedures. EHS, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures must be adhered to at all times. * All other duties as assigned. _ REQUIREMENTS_ Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and 5 years of related work experience.
