As a **Senior Platform Software Engineer** , you will play a key role in designing, developing, and driving customer adoption of next-generation test automation and measurement software platforms. You will work on modernizing architecture and implementing innovative solutions, leveraging multiple programming languages and technologies. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative and will work closely with our global engineering teams, product leadership, and field organizations to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.
Responsibilities
+ Design, develop, and maintain complex software components and frameworks across multiple technology stacks.
+ Write clean, maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices
+ Collaborate on architecture modernization initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies for integration.”
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to ensure seamless integration and shared ownership of deliverables.
+ Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
+ Debug and resolve technical issues across distributed systems.
+ Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
+ Develop proof-of-concepts and reference implementations for new product features.
+ Contribute to technical discussions, improve development processes and provide input on implementation approaches.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
+ 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
+ Strong proficiency in at least two of the following: JavaScript (Angular 14+), Java (Spring Boot 3.x, Java 17+), Python (pandas, numpy), C# (.NET 6+, ASP.NET Core), Go, Rust.
+ Experience designing and maintaining microservices and REST APIs, with message-driven architecture (RabbitMQ, AMQP), NoSQL databases (MongoDB), and clean code practices.
+ Experience writing unit and integration tests and understanding of test-driven development principles.
+ Familiarity with deploying applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker) and event-driven architectures.
+ Understanding of security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS) and secure coding practices.
+ Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in code reviews and maintaining code quality standards.
+ Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
+ Good communication skills: able to collaborate effectively with global engineering teams and explain technical concepts clearly.
+ Problem-solving and debugging skills for distributed systems and microservices.
+ Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience implementing GenAI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Large Language Models (LLMs) in production-level systems, including integration with enterprise applications and ensuring scalability and security.
+ Test and Measurement domain expertise: experience with instrument control protocols (VISA, SCPI), hardware integration, signal analysis, and waveform processing.
+ Knowledge of distributed caching, service discovery, and load balancing. Familiarity with observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and performance optimization techniques.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 100,700.00 - 186,900.00
