    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to support a large-scale digital transformation focused on building digital-first customer and associate experiences. This role will be heavily backend-focused, centered on building and orchestrating APIs, modernizing legacy applications, and developing cloud-native solutions in AWS. The engineer will play a key role in their cloud migration strategy, including the long-term exit from on-prem data centers.

     

    Par Range Falls Between $55-64/hr

    Skills and Requirements

    • 5+ years of professional software development experience

    • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud-native services

    • Hands on experience with Terraform (IaC)

    • Experience with Node.js (Express) for backend API's

    • Hands on experience in Python, and/or TypeScript

    • Frontend experience with React

    • Strong SQL and database development skills

    • Ability to clearly explain technical designs, implementations, and past work

    • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills • AWS Cloud Developer or Solutions Architect certification

    • EKS/Kubernetes is a plus

    • Playwright automation and unit testing a plus

    • Experience with GitHub Actions / DevOps automation

    • Financial services or banking industry experience

    • Experience supporting cloud migrations or data center exits
