Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Active Directory Consultant to assess a manufacturing clients current AD environment and lead the design and implementation of a modern, secure, and scalable Active Directory infrastructure. This role involves working closely with internal IT teams to evaluate the existing AD forest, plan a migration strategy, and deliver a well-documented and maintainable solution.
Deliverables Include:
Assessment Report
High-Level AD Design and Migration Plan
Configured AD Environment (OU structure, security groups, GPOs)
DNS and ADFS Configuration Updates
Testing and Validation Report
Final Documentation Package
Knowledge Transfer Sessions
Communication and Change Management Plan

Skills and Requirements
Review and assess the current AD forest, domains, OU structure, security groups, and GPOs.
Identify objects and configurations to migrate, rebuild, or decommission.
Design a new AD structure including OU hierarchy, naming conventions, delegation models, and GPO framework.
Plan and execute the migration of users, groups, computers, and policies.
Configure DNS and ADFS services to support the new AD environment.
Conduct testing and validation to ensure functionality and performance.
Provide detailed documentation and lead knowledge transfer sessions with IT staff.
Support change management and communication efforts throughout the project.
