Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on leader to transform our warehouse operations and build a strong foundation for long-term success. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, improving communication, and creating scalable processes across our warehousing function.
Key Responsibilities
• Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations with a strong presence on the floor (approximately 70% of time), ensuring productivity, quality, and output targets are met.
• Process Improvement: Assess current workflows, identify gaps, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce manual processes. Address underutilized systems and improve visibility across operations.
• Team Development: Lead and grow a team of ~50 employees, transitioning from a temp-heavy workforce. Mentor a young team, enforce accountability, and build a culture of performance and reliability.
• Technology & Systems: Leverage ERP experience (Epicor 21 preferred) to maximize system capabilities and streamline operations.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute 30-60-90 day plans with clear milestones and deadlines. Create processes and frameworks to support future growth.
• Change Management: Drive cultural change from a temporary workforce mindset to a long-term, engaged team environment. Implement policies and ensure consistent enforcement.
• Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to align warehouse operations with broader business objectives.

• Experience in both enterprise environments and smaller organizations.
• Ability to lead through change, enforce accountability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• ERP experience (Epicor 21 or similar) and familiarity with warehouse systems.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to deliver results under tight timelines.
$150,000 to $170,000 - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

• Proven experience building warehouse operations from the ground up.
• Ability to be hands-on and spend ~70% of time on the warehouse floor managing people.
• Strong problem-solving skills to assess issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute 30-60-90 day plans with clear milestones and deadlines.
• Background in enterprise environments combined with experience in smaller organizations.

• Strong leadership presence—dynamic, approachable, and battle-tested for making tough decisions.
• Experience managing large teams (50+ employees) including managers, supervisors, and leads.
• Ability to maximize tools and systems to drive productivity and improve workflow visibility.
• Comfortable with creating processes and foundational structures for long-term operational success.
• High level of curiosity and continuous improvement mindset—challenges the status quo and identifies gaps.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with employees at all levels and foster a positive culture.
