Job Description

• Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like test data and automated testing scripts

• Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

• Create and maintain test automation using test automation tools; experience with WebDriverIO, Cucumber, and Gherkin preferred

• Execute manual and automated tests to identify and report defects

• Design and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for both the frontend and backend of software systems

• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and debug defects

• Participate in peer reviews of test cases and defects

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related fields, or equivalent professional work experience

• 4+ years of experience with automation testing leveraging Javascript, preferably with WebDriverIO, Cucumber, and Gherkin preferred

• 2+ years of experience with automated application testing in a professional enterprise setting

• Experience maintaining a suite of test artifacts and scripts in a well organized repository/catalog

• Proficiency in planning for test automation as part of ongoing test activities

• Experience as part of an Agile team

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Good analytical/problem solving skills – ability to find bugs/defects quickly • Experience with automated and manual testing for large scale commercial applications with knowledge of retail or back-office concepts

• Strong understanding of interfacing technologies and concepts, such as APIs, databases, and logging software

• Experience with JIRA, Zephyr, or other testing tools

• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly
