    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for working on data transformations from source to target. This person will be involved on various projects involving data transformations within Smurfit Westrock's newly implemented systems. They will be responsible for aiding in the continuous improvement on projects involving up to 550 data pipelines. Pay rate for this position is between $70 and $75/hr.

    Skills and Requirements

    - 6-8 years of overall experience in data engineering

    • Data modeling, creating solutions

    - Palantir Foundry experience

    • Newer tool, but needs recent experience/ a SME when it comes to pipeline building and Go/No-Go development within Palantir Foundry

    - Experience in ontology

    • Creating ontology, creating workshops

     

    - Data quality oversight experience

     

    - PySpark experience

     

    - Experience working in an AWS environment

     

    - Python scripting experience - Experience working on large implementations, working on big project and a lot of pipelines all at once

     

    - Experience with Microsoft Fabric
