Job Description
Responsibilities:
Implementing, configuring, and maintaining the Epic Beaker laboratory information system (LIS).
Configuring, rolling out, and supporting the assigned Beaker Epic application(s).
Analyzing and determining system requirements and specifications.
Troubleshooting issues, building and testing system configurations, and training end users.
Communicating with system end-users to understand issues and implement solutions.
Ensuring application updates follow best practices and change control protocols.
Managing mid to high-level projects for the implementation of new functionality and system updates.

Communicating back to clinical end users and ensuring application updates follow best practices and change control protocols.

Skills and Requirements
A bachelor's degree in Information Services, Business, Healthcare, or a related field of study.
Epic Beaker AP or CP certification, both are preferred.
Strong analytical skills and Epic Beaker certification are typically required for this role.
The role requires a deep understanding of laboratory science, data integration, and order-to-cash processes to create scalable and compliant solutions. It also involves collaboration with laboratory leadership, technology, and cross-application Epic teams to ensure that all Beaker configurations support laboratory excellence, operational efficiency, and end-user experience.
