    Job Description

    A clinic in Countryside IL is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to perform back-office duties and manage a patient load of 20-30 individuals daily in a primary care setting. Responsibilities include conducting annual hearing tests for employees, handling emergencies such as chest pain, stroke symptoms, blood draws, panic attacks, heat exhaustion, and performing flu, COVID-19, and strep tests, as well as A1C checks. The Medical Assistant will also be responsible for documenting patient information in EPIC. Additionally, the candidate will be cross trained to assist with front desk duties.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 3+ years of clinical experience

    • Certified Medical Assistant

    • Phlebotomy Experience (blood draws)

    • Immunization administration experience • EPIC Experience
