Job Description
In this role, you will take ownership of electrical modeling and system studies using SKM Power Tools, ensuring accuracy and reliability across complex infrastructure. Day to day, you’ll build and maintain electrical models, perform short-circuit analysis, protective device coordination, and arc flash hazard studies in full compliance with NFPA 70E, IEEE 1584, and related standards. You will also configure low and medium voltage breaker and relay settings, collect and validate equipment data from drawings, submittals, and vendor documentation, and interpret electrical single-line diagrams for LV and MV systems as well as equipment specifications and ratings. Work will be split half on modeling and half on studies, and you will perform design work to support system improvements and ensure compliance with engineering standards. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where your expertise will directly impact system performance and operational safety.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience using SKM Power Tools for electrical modeling and studies
5+ years of experience performing short-circuit analysis, protective device coordination, and arc flash hazard studies (NFPA 70E, IEEE 1584 compliance)
5+ years of experience configuring low/medium voltage breaker and relay settings and collecting/validating equipment data
Proficient at reading and interpreting electrical single-line diagrams for LV and MV systems as well as equipment specifications and ratings
